The TikTok Hashtag API returns structured data for a single TikTok hashtag. You get its id, name, description, thumbnail and cover images, and its total video and view counts. Any hashtag in the hashtags of a TikTok Video API response can be looked up here, and its name works as the q of the TikTok Search API to find related videos.

    Description

    The hashtag to look up, with or without the leading # (e.g. football or #football). Hashtags are made of letters in any script, numbers, underscores and emoji, up to 70 characters. TikTok matches the hashtag regardless of letter case, and the response's name is the hashtag it matched. A hashtag TikTok does not know, or restricts, returns a 200 with an error field set to TikTok Hashtag not found.

The hashtag object carries TikTok's id, the name without the leading # and the title with it, the hashtag page link, the description, the thumbnail and cover images, and the exact videos and views totals. is_commerce is true for hashtags TikTok marks as commerce hashtags.
